We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our Personal Insurance Team. This is a full-time position based out of Hamilton, New Jersey. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop prospecting strategies to increase opportunities for new business
- Generate new personal insurance sales by proactively contacting prospects to sell insurance products and service
- Collect prospect information and perform research to determine the appropriate products and services to fit their needs
- Develop a strong knowledge of insurance products and services
- Build and maintain client relationships and provide a consultative approach to account activity
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3+ years of Personal Insurance experience required
- Property & Casualty License required
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Negotiation skills
- Highly motivated
- Team player
- Desire for continual learning and career development
- Basic computer knowledge and proficient with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Applied Systems EPIC a plus
- Knowledge of insurance company rating programs a plus
