What you need:

· Current and Valid PA Licensure as a Practical Nurse

· Successful completion of the PA Department of Human Services (DHS) Direct Care Staff Person Training Course/Test.

· Twenty-One years of age or older

· Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification or willingness to be trained by Luthercare during

employment.

· Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination or able to obtain a Religious or Medical Exemption

What you do:

· Ensure the safety and proper care of resident’s personal property as defined by the organization’s guidelines and standards. Addresses possible concerns and issues with supervisor as appropriate.

· Assists in the Observe residents and report changes in resident condition or symptoms of illness to medical provider and/or PC Manager, as necessary. Obtain and monitor vital signs and assist with emergency situations and ambulation. Encourage residents to remain active and attend social functions and programs. Assist with the development and carry-out of activities and programs on a routine basis under the leadership of the activity staff.

· Provide functional supervision to personal care staff. Assist Manager with training and in-service Programs.
