Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
Job description
Join an organization where we actually encourage you to spend a little extra time building warm, friendly relationships with the older adults we serve.
At Presbyterian SeniorCare Network, we want our PCAs to build those relationships and create meaningful moments while they provide direct care. Travel back in time as you listen to our residents’ life stories about their careers, families, and hobbies – some have fought in wars, others have fought for civil rights. These relationships are why families and residents love and treasure our PCAs.
Join our accredited, award-winning organization that offers a wide range of living and care options. You’ll make a positive impact on the lives of older adults every day.
Why you will love being a PCA at Presbyterian SeniorCare Network:
- Earn a Good Living: We offer competitive rates and generous extra pay for night and weekend shifts.
- Flexibility: Flexible shifts and schedules.
- Career Growth: For PCAs who want to expand their clinical knowledge, we offer in-house Medication Technician training, paid on-site CNA Training programs, as well as tuition support to help you or a dependent go to school to earn your Licensed Practical Nursing Degree.
- Innovate: Be part of an organization that’s well known for finding new ways to solve problems. We were among the first to think differently about how to care for older adults and create new programs to help them lead more engaging, fulfilled lives.
- Be Inspired: Create meaningful moments while you provide direct care to the older adults we serve.
Benefits:
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Generous Paid Time Off
- Employer-paid short-term disability
- Company-paid life insurance for full-time employees
- Retirement Savings Plan
- Team member referral bonuses
- Recognition program
- Free parking
- Tuition reimbursement
- Person-centered onboarding
- A rewarding career with an opportunity to make a difference
What we are looking for:
We need PCAs who will be responsible for providing assistance to residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure good hygiene, grooming and self-esteem. Our PCAs are required to:
- Be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or GED or provide documentation that the GED or high school diploma will be received within 6 months of hire
- Be able to effectively interact with residents, resident families, and team members
