Job description
Position requires excellent computer and problem-solving skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Outgoing professionalism with attention to detail, possess strong organizational skills, ability to investigate, utilize strong analytical skills and have the ability to multi-task. Innovative self-starter who is able to work independently. Effective and collaborative communication. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and through written message clearly and accurately. 2 plus years’ experience working in an office environment and/or combination of education and experience. $18.00-$28.00/hour DOE
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Set up and verify Online Banking and Business Online Banking accounts and process letters. Perform Online Banking and BillPay functions.
- Process daily operational functions as assigned
- Perform daily balancing of various GL and operational accounts
- Process various types of incoming and outgoing daily ACH wire files.
- Input and verify outgoing and incoming wires.
- Oversee voided Cashier’s Checks
- Daily e-statement and change of address file submission
- Validate and Input Online Banking Update Forms
- Verification of miscellaneous electronic banking functions
- Perform Item Research as needed.
- Answer phones as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of high school or equivalent. Associates or some college experience preferred.
EXPERIENCE: A combination of education and experience equivalent to:
2 plus years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of electronic banking practice including the ability to investigate, problem solve and utilize strong analytical skills. Must be a self-starter and able to work Independently. Proficient in Microsoft office products including Word and Excel required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Sitting/Standing/Walking: Approximately 80-90% of time is spent sitting at workstation. Speaking/Hearing: clear diction and acute hearing are necessary for effective communication with co-workers, clients, and outside agencies by telephone and in person. Vision: Corrected vision close to 20/20 is necessary to effectively use the computer screens and interpret written information. Lifting/Carrying/Pushing/ Pulling: The ability to lift and carry up 20 to 50 pounds if necessary. Stooping/Kneeling: The ability to stoop and kneel is necessary for accessing file drawers. Reaching/Handling: Good manual dexterity is necessary for computer keyboard use and for retrieving and working with appropriate paperwork, equipment and supplies.
