Gulf Coast Health Center is currently looking for a Peer Support Specialist to begin ASAP. Our center has been proudly serving Southeast Texas for over 25 years by providing quality, affordable, and accessible primary medical, dental, and behavioral health care to the community.
Responsibilities:
- Provides peer support services to patients
- Assists patients in articulating personal goals for recovery
- Assists patients in setting up and sustaining self-help groups
Qualifications:
- Certification in state-approved Peer Support training via Hope preferred.
- Experience working in a recovery program preferred.
