Job Title - Payroll Coordinator
Location - Charlotte, North Carolina- 28208
Duration - 12+Months (With Possible Extension)
Shifts - Mon- Fri

Duties:
Assists leadership in the preparation of corporate payroll which primarily involves the
completion of master file changes and pay transaction changes. Prepares the quarterly
payroll tax balancing and assists leadership in providing payroll data to outside vendors
and internal departments.

Essential Functions

• Gathers and organizes data to ensure that monthly master file changes can be

completed. Ensures requests for such changes are complete and authorized.

• Assists with entry of payroll transactions and review of payroll output before

finalizing payroll processing and analyzes any discrepancies.

• Completes direct deposit file transmission and payment of benefit vendors,

ensuring amounts are balanced and valid.

• Prepares summary of payroll tax data for quarterly tax filing requirements.
• Answers questions from employees, leadership and human resources to resolve

problems in a timely manner.

• Assists leadership in pulling information from the payroll system via queries.
• Performs analytical review, research and analysis as requested.
• Works with leadership to implement processes that improve efficiency and

effectiveness of operations.

• Assists with the preparation and mailing of paychecks and year end W-2's

Skills:
Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and demonstrates
the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and
special needs of the patient population served.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business or significant work experience in a payroll
department required. 2 or 3 years of payroll experience is preferred.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
