Local Accounting and Tax Office is seeking a Payroll and bookkeeping clerk position available onsite at Wausau, WI accounting firm. We are looking for a candidate to join our payroll / bookkeeping team.
As a payroll/bookkeeping clerk you will:
- run live payrolls for clients and assist in the administration of payroll tasks
- prepare reports, file, & pay taxes as appropriate
- provide bookkeeping support as needed
- interact with clients on routine basis
- provide customer support and develop long term relationships with our firm’s clientele
Requirements:
- technical or bachelors degree preferred
- knowledgeable on payroll process and tax filings
- understanding of payroll software and QuickBooks
- 2+ years experience preferred. Training is available
This is an hourly position with availability for overtime during our busy season. Wage negotiable depending on experience.
