Job description
We currently have openings in our affiliate Dialysis centers for Certified Hemodialysis Technicians / Patient Care Technicians located in NYC as well as Long Island.Patient Care Technicians provides direct patient care for assigned patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. They are responsible for dialysis machine operation and maintenance under the supervision of the Chief Technician.
Physical Demands: Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing / walking, Lifts, pushes and/or transfers patients, Occasional reaching, and stooping, demonstrates emotional capability to preform position responsibilities
Previous experience as a PCT or in Dialysis helpful but not required.
Minimum Education:
- High school diploma or GED
- Dialysis training certificate from an accredited program
