Overview:
M Health Fairview is looking for a Patient Attendant at our Fairview Northland location in Princeton, MN. The patient attendant is responsible for providing direct and constant observation to assigned patients that require monitoring for safety reasons. This role is for a casual FTE (3 shifts per month minimum expectation) on the day/eve/night shift with an as needed weekend rotation.
This position is eligible for benefits such as: shift differentials, training, health & well being resources, and so much more!

The patient attendant will be responsible for:
- Ensuring patient safety through close and constant observation of the patient
- Observing for real and potential threats to the patient’s safety and initiating appropriate action to prevent patient harm
- Reporting observations directly to the patient’s assigned nurse or to the unit’s charge nurse
- Detailing observations in the designated appropriate manner
- Providing high quality patient care at all times
- Foster a culture of improvement, efficiency, and innovative thinking
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred:
BLS
Previous CNA or healthcare experience
