Compensation

Pay is compensated significantly with tips. We offer a base wage ($8) + tips. Our team has recently averaged $19/hr all in. Daily rotating family meals offered to those on shift!

Responsibilities

Make guests feel special. Do this with attentive service, product knowledge, and general love for people.

• Assist guests at the counter. Provide descriptions, explanations, and recommendations to our guests.

• Box up and ring up purchases.

• Restock product as it is sold.

• Take phone-in, online, and cafe orders.

• Will be cross-trained on expo and our coffee program.

• Finish pastries and desserts. Some decoration and production will be required.

• Coordinate with kitchen staff for togo, grab-n-go, hot orders and pastries.

• The health and safety of our guests and team are of the utmost priority. We expect high support and high accountability with exceeding health department standards. One needs to have a sharp focus on sanitation and security. We ask that you have an adaptable, creative and compliant approach to the needs of our team during Covid-19.

Qualifications

We prefer restaurant experience, but it is not required if you are outgoing, personable, and have a huge smile. Our team must thrive in a busy, high-volume, fast-paced, and challenging yet fun atmosphere.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with guests and employees

• Hunger for mastering and guiding guests with product knowledge

• Must be passionate about creating a positive impact and turning first-time guests into loyal advocates

• Warm, inviting presence and personality. Guests should be able to tell there is a warm smile on the other side of the mask.
