Forge Fitness/CrossFit Shades is looking for a CrossFit Coach to join our coaching team. Forge emphasizes building a strong community and helping each member achieve his or her personal goals. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of health and fitness and the ability to apply this knowledge to coaching and one-on-one training. This candidate will also be upbeat, outgoing, flexible, and possess a sense of humor. Most importantly, he or she will have a strong sense of the importance of the work that Forge does in changing lives and the passion to help inspire that change.

We are currently looking to hire someone to coach 10 to 20 hours per week with the opportunity to increase responsibilities and hours if desired.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coaching group classes
• Private training sessions
• Promotion and participation in special events
• Team meetings
• Equipment maintenance/Cleaning Gym
• Posting on social media
• Coaching Weekends
• Sending out biweekly emails
• Following up with potential clients

Preferred QUALIFICATIONS:

• CrossFit Level 1 Certification
• CrossFit Level 2, Olympic Lifting, Gymnastics, Kettlebell, Endurance, Mobility or other related training certificates are a plus.
• One year experience in CrossFit coaching is a plus.
• Educational background in Exercise Science, Nutrition, Sports Management or equivalent a plus.
