Job description

Looking for a LONG TERM employee with the possibility for advancement. This position will include training in all areas of our book manufacturing process. These areas include, but are not limited to; binding books, laminating covers, picking/shelving books, packing, shipping, as well as maintenance/repair of trimmers/binding equipment.

Previous experience in print production/warehouse/shipping is not required.

The basic duties of the position include:

- Organizing and prioritizing print orders on computer que
- Frequent monitoring of job details
- Flexible to process changes, the position is in a team-based environment/attend team meetings as needed
- Occasional maintenance of equipment as needed
- The use of basic computer skills using common programs such as Word and email programs
- Determining the best way to solve problems
- Position involves periods of standing and walking, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Moving products weighing up to 40 pounds, paper, boxes, shipping materials, etc.

-Occasional set up for on-site company team building activities

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Jefferson, NC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Warehouse or factory: 2 years (Preferred)
