Outside Services Manager
Description
Definition: The Outside Services Manager will lead the Outside Service Staff throughout the Golf operation. This role involves working closely with the Outside Service Staff associates to provide the best golf experience for our guests.
General Duties:
Golf Operations:
- Responsible for demonstrating the highest level of guest service.
- Report to Golf Professional staff daily with any issues or concern with Outside Service Staff.
- Check on consistency across golf operations each shift.
- Verify all Outside Service Staff are in appropriate uniforms with name tag.
- Check with Outside Service Staff that all golf cart staples are ready at the start of the day.
- Confirm appropriate staffing levels at each location.
- Assist with tournaments.
- Lead our Outside Service Staff to operate consistent with our Plum Creek Golf Course culture.
- Lead the charge on detailing cart.
· Maintain the practice areas so they are set-up and continually supplied (i.e., range balls, etc.) and in order for daily usage.
· Maintain cleanliness and order of club storage and cart barn areas (rental, member, etc.), equipment, etc. Report any damage to clubs or equipment immediately to Golf Shop.
Tournaments:
- As the Outside Operations Supervisor you will be involved with our events throughout the year.
- Oversee set up of golf carts to ensure they are properly staged for events.
- Work with professional staff to ensure all golf carts are prepared correctly for each event with rules sheets, scorecards, pin sheets and all other golf cart staples.
Training:
- Responsible for overseeing the training of current and new Outside Service associates.
- Create or revise training program used for all golf operations.
- Implement training with Outside Service Staff.
- Oversee daily that performance standards are being met or exceeded.
- Use corrective action as needed to reinforce our training program.
- Lead by Example, training to gain the most out of our Outside Service Staff.
Employment Standards:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Previous experience is required.
- Requires excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Must have neat and pleasant overall appearance
- Comprehend reading materials, speak, read and write English
- Have a current driver’s license.
- Maintain and promote a superlative professional image with the community.
Physical & Mental Requirements:
- Possess a friendly demeanor and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work under stressful conditions.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Frequently exposed to moving objects and outside weather conditions.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
- Requires problem solving abilities.
- Maintain a clean, safe and environmentally responsible work environment.
- Must be able to interact with co-workers and have a sense of TEAM.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
