SUMMARY: Sells and services new and existing accounts, maintaining and increasing the level of sales and profit margins within their assigned territory (Manassas/ Woodbridge/ Falls Church/ Springfield). Develops new business while achieving exceptional customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides exceptional customer service and sales support to Diaz Foods and its customers in the following aspects:
- Must achieve goal set by Inside Sales Manager & established budget.
- Expedites customer orders. Required to complete daily visits to customers by the specified date and time, prior to cut-off time; plus makes arrangements for special routes and holiday schedules
- Provides customer information including the status of orders, product specifications, pricing and other sales related details
- Increases sales to current customers and opens and reactivates accounts for perspective and past customers
- Handles prospecting for customers and qualifying prospects
- Quotes prices and maintains up to date customer prices
- Contacts current and prospective customers to sell, explain and promotes Diaz Foods private labels and brands, as well as exclusive Diaz Foods product lines
- Maximizes profits
Customer Service/Support Duties:
- Provides a consistent, quality level of service to include initiating and follow-up with customers to sell or resolve problems and answer questions
- Resolves customer complaints effectively
- Provides delivery information and handles special requests
- Maintains professional telephone skills
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
- Plans and controls activities-work with sales manager in developing sales targets.
- Attends Sales Meetings
- Studies the market, the customer and monitors competitive actions
- Promotes the positive image of the organization for customer perspective
- Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change and all requirements are subject to modification.
- Assist in the coordination of all promotions, food shows and trade shows
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish with excellent communication skills
- Retail Sales experience/Customer Service or Sales experience, or appropriate mix of education and experience
- Computer Skills
- Must have and maintain a current driver license and VA required minimum insurance.
- Must have personal vehicle
- Must be able to travel locally and visit customers in person
