Job description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Enter orders manually into ERP system received by fax, email, Department Manager(s) and Foremen.
• Identify ship to/sold to and all customer instructions prior to entry
• Obtain and verify all customers' names, addresses, shipping instructions and billing information, part numbers, and specifications of services to be purchased prior to entry. Enter and verify all this information on all sales orders.
• Respond to requests: identifying discrepancies or problems related to customer purchase orders.
• Verify customer and order information for correctness, checking it against previously obtained information as necessary.
• Review orders for completeness according to procedures and forward any incomplete orders to Department Managers and Foreman for further processing or specific instructions if needed.
• Print all entered orders and distribute by department directly to Department Manager(s) and or Forman for processing.
• Additional duties as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-5 year prior order entry/customer service experience.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize workload/Sense of urgency.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• ERP experience a plus.
• (Teamwork) Must be able to work well with others/good team player.
• High School or equivalent.
