Medical Assistant - Optometric Tech
Looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, efficient, able to multi-task and a willingness to learn.

Previous Optometry experience or medical office experience strongly preferred, but willing to train the right individual.

Employee would be responsible for:

Obtaining patient medical history

Patient pre-testing and working up patients for Optometrist

Assist with patient flow

Data entry for patients prior to appointment

Answering phones / communicating with patients as needed

Sanitizing and organizing patient rooms prior and after their visit

Excellent customer service skills are a MUST!

Position would be primarily at our San Benito location, but willing to work at our Weslaco location if needed.

The position is part-time with partial benefits (paid time off, paid holidays, employee eyewear allowance, uniforms provided).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour

• Medical office experience: 1 year (Required)
• Customer service: 1 year (Required)
• Optical: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• Spanish (Required)
