Job description
Busy ophthalmology office looking for an ophthalmic tester to join our team. Hours are Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm, no weekends.Must be willing to travel between 3 locations, Southfield, Dearborn and Livonia.
Willing to train the right person for the job.
Responsibilities:
- Perform ancillary testing including: visual field, OCT, fundus photography, fluorescein angiography, and A scan
- Enter electronic orders for medication, imaging and lab orders
- Provide patient education, including the ability to answer basic ophthalmic medication questions and diseases of the eye.
- Attend team meeting and stay current with skills and workflow
