Operations Supervisor

Schedule:

- 5:00pm-5:00am, Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday

Salary Range:

· $58,000 - $69,000

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

What you will do:

· Regulate safety standards and compliance with company procedures.

· Supervise and direct all activities of workers and other support staff with the loading and unloading of freight.

· Conduct pre-shift meetings and train new members of the team.

· Meet customer expectations and provide on-time and quality delivery of freight.

· Complete reports in a timely manner to ensure an efficient and steady flow of information.

· Provide balanced and timely coaching/feedback to promote a culture of teamwork to ensure high-performance.

· Maintain knowledge of applicable Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

· High School graduate or equivalent.

· Demonstrated Leadership and supervisory capabilities.

· Must be flexible, willing to work any schedule, including weekends and holidays, in all types of weather.

· Previous LTL experience strongly preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The position requires the ability to stand and walk for extensive periods of time. Occasional lifting, pushing/pulling, carrying 10 lbs of supplies and materials is required.
