Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
? Oversees selection of high quality break room snacks and beverages that are creative, cost effective, and are appropriate to the WELL initiative. Ensures that all products and ingredients that are used are purchased following Bon Appétit purchasing standards and sustainability commitments. Meets and exceeds the expectations of the customer and client perceived value.
? Tracks all equipment malfunction and maintenance logs and keeps tabs on repair progress and maintains accurate asset tracking. Completes inventory counts and places needed orders on an appropriate schedule. Plans and executes sponsored demos and tastings with vendor partners.
? Adheres to all Health Department, OSHA and ADA regulations. Liaisons between break room and janitorial operations and programs ensuring clean & sanitized break room spaces. Manages in compliance with established company, local, state, and federal regulations, policies, and procedures
? Ensures that overall look of break rooms meets and exceeds programmatic standards, as well as oversees the daily appearance and upkeep of said spaces. Plans seasonal and holiday specials and offerings, plans and reviews marketing, signage and displays with management and marketing teams.
? Follows all Bon Appetit requirements as outlined in the Accounting Manual. Analyzes weekly business and makes recommendations to define best practices and solutions. Assists with maintaining and monitoring business forecasts and the budget. Ensures that food cost meets budgetary goals each week and month. Ability to speak to and train others on financial controls such as DPR’s and budgeting/forecasting.
? Mentor management and supervisor teams in accordance with ongoing development plan: goal of fluency in financial acumen, navigating and developing long-term shareholder relationships, and purchasing & inventory controls. Maintain excellent professional relationships with all shareholders.
Essential Functions
? Adheres to all Health Department, OSHA and ADA regulations.
? Follows all Safety Manual guidelines.
? Develops and revises Break Room daily and weekly cleaning checklists and oversees their accomplishment.
? Reports any injury, accident and/or foodborne illness incident for customers and/or staff accurately and in a timely manner.
? Trains Front of House personnel in safe operating procedures of all equipment, utensils and machinery. Provides safety training in lifting, carrying, hazardous material control, chemical control, first aid and CPR.
? Attends monthly safety meetings and participates in ongoing safety inspections
? Maintains Manager ServSafe certification
