Morin Repair Services Operations Manager / Assistant Manager

Morin Repair Services Operations Manager / Assistant Manager position with a Market Leading Industrial Equipment manufacturer fully solution distributor experiencing a large amount of growth. The current General Manager is working with ownership in an effort to identify, help mentor, support and train the right candidate

• The first 12-24 months may be spent daily to develop the commercial skill required working with various staff members as recognized as necessary and assigned by the General Manager including the Shop Manager, Sales Manager, Outside Sales Engineers, Inside Applications, Quality Control, Logistics Manager, Inventory, Planning and Scheduling in an effort to learn the day-to-day and long-term flow of our business model.
• Ultimately will be responsible for continuation of the culture in leading and managing the company's S.E. Repair and Service Operations
• In time will analyse, present and future, needs across the company's territory and client base to meet the continual growth and demands of the business.
• Will continue the growth to build and develop teams
• To be a key member of the organization
• To be based in the HQ in Decatur, AL – Part of the Huntsville AL corridor (can offer a relocation package if needed) candidate must be willing to permanently reside within 30- mile radius of 75 Safety Way Decatur Alabama
• Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering Preferred
• Minimum of 5 years industry experience
• Offering a strong base salary between $100k - $150k (depending on experience) + bonus + benefits

• Previous inside Industrial Equipment applications, estimating, product knowledge * Provide Pump, Compressor, Gearbox or Rotating Equipment Repair and Service
• Provide Technical Support for Installation, start up, and Troubleshooting
• Communicate with customers, end users, and other personnel
• Continue to Increase Repair and Customer Service Capabilities • Foster existing relationships with customers
• Must have Pump, Compressor, or Valve Repair Experience
• Pump/ Mixer/ Seals/ Compressor Service Experience

Morin Repair Services currently has established partnerships with many power, steel, chemical and other facilities on multiple systems and services regarding pumps, heat exchangers, valves, gearboxes, fans, blowers, filtration and other industrial process equipment as well as onsite contract work with facilities on repairs, plant support and outage assistance. We repair & service throughout the Southeast – Pumps, Valves, Heat Exchangers, etc.…. we have gone to market as an OEM non-specific alternative shop which has been a large advantage and value for our customer base (working on Flowserve, Goulds, Buffalo, Johnston, Sulzer, KSB, and just about every other brand in industry). We have now been able to earn and realize contracts and repair work with large companies such as Tenaska Power, Southern Company, Calpine Power, Capital Energy, TVA, US Steel, Nucor Steel, 3M, and many, many more. Our well planned and laid out facility, processes and procedures allow us to present to market a true service center TEAM – 25,000 Sq foot with office and was built in Decatur Alabama 10 years ago with a true commitment to Quality-Service- Excellence and we are considered to be state of the art by many of our customers, clients, peers and contemporaries. We are continuing to build on our staff and with what we believe is the best team of 30 rotating equipment specialists in the Southeast. We humbly yet confidently believe we can bring plants much value in the way of repairs, on-site service, system upgrades, engineered systems analysis, on-site training, and more. Morin Repair Services has partnered with our customers to offer a complete process, rather than just a “repair”, when we grow with our partners to make the plants more profitable and reliable. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
