RRD is looking for an energetic, and highly motivated team member to join our team of at our Orlando, FL facility!
Work assignments are often routine but on occasion may be non-routine and require some deviation from accepted practice and procedures to complete. Assignments are given in terms of subject area concerned, with specific objectives and possible problems identified. Follow guidelines which may include company and/or departmental policies and procedures, and rules and regulations that are well established but may require some deviation from normal operating procedures when completing more unique assignments
All employees are responsible for conducting themselves in a manner which will enhance customer satisfaction and support teamwork in a high employee involvement work culture.
- Perform routine, but varied clerical duties in support of manufacturing areas in accordance with standard procedures (i.e. Daq Logger report, Est vs Act hours report, maintain BOLs for jobs, freight costs, glue and ink usage etc).
- Apply knowledge of department policies and procedures to resolve customer and operational concerns/issues as needed.
- Data entry responsibilities, comparing jobs in both Hagen and Insight, investigating discrepancies when necessary.
- Reinforce safety training and safe work practices; lead safety meetings and participate in monthly EHS calls.
- Function as subject matter expert for various EHS programs, such as Contractor Safety, Hearing Conservation, First Aid/CPR and Air Compliance. Mail and track all FESOP and yearly environmental reporting required by state regulations.
- Assist with 5S certifications.
- Serve as ISO Auditor on a yearly basis to maintain ISO certification.
- Effectively communicate with customers, suppliers/vendors, customer service, and production.
- Build and maintain positive relationships within each service area/department; coordinating and utilizing resources to ensure all products are handled, stored and shipped according to established safety guidelines.
- Work closely with management staff to understand and assist with implementing action plans to achieve department objectives.
- Assist management with supporting and implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives, departmental activities, training, safety and special projects.
- Read, understand and comply with relevant federal, state, local and company safety regulations and policies (e.g., OSHA, Personal Protective Equipment, Safety Shoes, etc.)
- Participate in continuous training and development of employees and temporary labor.
- Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
The pay range for this role at the noted location is $14.86 - $20.65 / hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay. Required Skills
- HS diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of administrative/operational support in manufacturing operations or office environment directly related to the duties of the job, or demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements.
- Requires very good knowledge of general administrative and manufacturing operations procedures and knowledge of job specific processes key to successfully executing and completing the more progressive/complex duties of the job. Ability to follow company policy and understand any rules or regulations governing the work being completed and the impact work has on a department or the company. Have a strong knowledge of required information systems, including materials tracking systems, storage and retrieval systems, inventory control systems and applicable reporting systems which may include spreadsheets, databases and other materials receipt and usage systems.
Required Experience
- Must have very good knowledge of technology to include computers and software programs.
- Requires good knowledge of multiple functions or areas of the business in which there is frequent contact while completing daily work assignments of the job.
- Must have very good oral and written communication skills sufficient to explain departmental policy, methods and/or procedures when completing assignments.
- Requires very good organizational skills sufficient to accomplish work by established deadlines and ability to coordinate phases of work with others.
