POSITION OVERVIEW

The Office Manager + Admin Assistant will provide high-level administrative support ensure efficient and effective office / plant operation. In addition, this role serve as the HR champion in creating and maintaining a cohesive, upbeat culture for onsite and remote employees.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provides clerical and administrative support for the Executive team with assigned administrative duties such as digital filing/organization, record keeping, scheduling meetings, and managing office operations and schedules.
  • Organize and maintain files in a confidential manner.
  • Assists in writing and proofreading materials; finds and develops charts, graphics, and visuals.
  • Maintains the inventory of office equipment and supplies; orders new equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Organizing maintenance companies to keep the office clean and safe and ensure its appliances are in good working order.
  • Basic HR duties, such as payroll, interviewing, onboarding, and personnel file maintenance.
  • Coordinate new employee orientation and setup, e.g., space, computer, building access, etc.
  • Coordinate regular performance reviews, reward and discipline as needed, address complaints, and resolve problems.
  • Various other administrative tasks as needed to keep the office and business running smoothly.

  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of relevant payroll and multi-state employment laws, particularly in Arizona and Colorado
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional spreadsheet skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • AA degree or equivalent in HR, business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ proven experience in HR roles.
  • At least two (2) years’ office management experience.
  • Knowledge of labor relations and payroll processes.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products, Apple products, and Google Drive.
  • Experience with QuickBooks and online HR management platforms, a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
