Position Summary:
The Office Administrator is an administrative role that supports plant operations and manages the day-to-day administrative functions to include delivering against the transactional HR needs of the facility. This position acts as a liaison between Plant leadership, the production team, and the corporate office. Organizational credibility, high level of delivery and follow through are the keys to being successful in this position. This role requires a high degree of discretion, good judgment, and tact. The Office Administrator is an advocate for the employee as well as a representative of the best interests of Resco.
The Current Team:
The team consists of a Plant Manager and several Supervisors at the plant level along with resources from Human Resources and Payroll at the Corporate Office. It is a shared-services function and provides administrative and consultative support to the Plant. This position partners closely with the Plant Manager and Supervisors as well as key resources at the Corporate Office and across other locations.
Job Reports To:
This position reports directly to the Plant Manager with a dotted line to Corporate HR.
Essential Functions:
- Support Resco’s Culture and drive our Vision, Mission, and Values at the Plant.
- Provide administrative support to the Plant Manager and the Plant leadership team.
- Serve as a liaison between the production workforce, Plant leadership and the Corporate Office.
- Create purchasing and receiving orders and manage inventory. MRP knowledge is a plus
- Manage the transactional HR responsibilities at the Plant to include entering / auditing pay data, orientation, and onboarding of new hires, recruiting and coordinating interview processes, and providing support on employee relations.
- Serve as a primary point of contact on employee questions and concerns and provide guidance and consultative services.
- Handle purchasing responsibilities for Raw Materials
- Support corporate communications at the plant level and provide ongoing support during the implementation of change management and cultural transformation initiatives.
- Significant office management and day-to-day administrative responsibilities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Other Attributes:
· Minimum of 2-4 years of Administrative and/or Human Resources experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
· Functional expertise in all areas of HR with deep experience in the administration and management of the full range of benefit and retirement plans.
· Must be hands-on and capable of working with limited direction.
· Must be results-oriented and demonstrate the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Excellent project management skills including successful leadership of projects from planning phase through completion.
· Must possess innovative leadership, communication, delivery, consultative, partnership, and team building skills.
· Knowledge of QAD and Enterprise would be preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

- Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
