The Occupational Therapist is an integral part the care team that helps change the lives of our patients and residents each day. As an Occupational Therapist you are responsible for assessing the need for, developing and delivering Occupational therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation in an interdisciplinary environment including:

• Developing and implementing individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce and enhance performance
• Identifying need for and make referral to other disciplines to address the needs of the patient
• Instructing, educating and training patients and caregivers in the essential skills and functions needed to promote patient independence, productivity, and quality of life.
• Supervising Occupational Therapist Assistants, provisional licensees, students and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards

Position Requirements

• Valid Occupational therapy license in New York of practice, or eligibility to apply
• Graduation from an accredited Occupational therapy program
• Basic computer literacy skills
• Current CPR certification
• Able to wear PPE, including, but not limited to masks, face shields, goggles, gloves, and gowns as mandated
