A home health company within the las-vegas area is looking for an Occupational Therapist. We are excited for you to join our team if you are flexible, patient oriented and detail oriented. The Occupational therapist is accountable for the developing, implementing, and maintaining a program to facilitate rehabilitation of mentally, physically, or emotionally handicapped individuals.

Responsibilities

Educate patients and/or families about proper safe use and recommend methods for installation of adaptive equipment.

Selects activity program consistent with needs and capabilities of each patient and coordinates program with other therapeutic activities.

Teaches patients skills and techniques required for participation in activities and evaluates patient's progress.

Suggests special equipment for patient to use in adaption to work-living environment.

Lays out materials for patients use and cleans and repairs tools at end of session.

Conducts and participates in training programs.

May make and fit adoptive devices such as splints, braces, etc.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Responsible for planning, evaluation, and treatment implementation of assigned caseload.

Preparing clinical progress notes.

Supervising therapy assistants and home health aides as appropriate.

Evaluating outcomes.

Planning Discharge.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $70.00 - $85.00 per hour
