SNF with friendly rehab team in Bennington is currently seeking a Full Time and a Part Time COTA to join our team. We are also looking to grow our pool of per diem therapists. Mentorship program for new grads or those returning to work.

Duties Include:

· Assist Residents in carrying out daily activities & improve their functional ability.

· Monitor Residents' performance in therapy activities, providing encouragement.

· Teach Residents how to use special equipment to assist with daily function.

· Work in collaboration with the OT to establish a rehabilitation plan.

· Supervise Residents’ activities to ensure they are done properly.

· Working with evaluating therapists plan of care.

· Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

· Maintains a safe and clean working environment. Protects Residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.

· Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.

Necessary Skills/Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited OTA Program
• Current OTA License or ability to obtain a temporary license
• Experience in skilled nursing/ long term care settings is a plus
