Position: Nutrition Educator
Salary: $19.00
Catholic Charities is seeking a Nutrition Educator in the CalFresh Healthy Living Program. This is a part-time position (29 hours) for San Joaquin and Stanislaus County. The ideal candidate will know about nutrition related to low-income populations and food insecurity. The responsibilities include conducting nutrition education in a series of workshops or single sessions to help promote healthy eating and an active lifestyle. Desired qualifications: Competence in facilitating workshops, excellent organization, and interpersonal communication skills. Must be fluent in English and Spanish and be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint. Must possess a valid California Driver's license and be cleared through a fingerprinting and background check.
