Job description
We are currently looking for a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our practice and provide care in our Colonial Heights office, as well as provide inpatient care at Bon Secours Southside Regional Medical Center.

Schedule: Full Time (Monday - Friday)

- The incoming provider will have both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities

Responsibilities
- Examine patients and their medical records
- Diagnose and treat patients with acute and chronic cardiac illnesses
- Communicate results of diagnostic testing and next steps
- Educate patients and their family members on the patient's condition, treatment plans, and medications
- Supervise non-invasive stress testing

Qualifications
- 1+ years of cardiology nurse practitioner or physician assistant experience (preferred; not required)
- Must have excellent communication and relationship skills to build trust with patients, referring providers and the community
- Possess excellent clinical skills, strong ethics and favor an independent setting
- Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
- Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
- State licensure and board certification are required
