Job description
Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is a full-service, non-profit Catholic hospital, sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy and a member of Trinity Health.
Full Time NP working in the ALS Clinic within our Neuroscience Institute
- Assists physician with follow-up patient visits, intra-procedure, hospital consults and other duties within scope of practice.
- According to established protocols, conducts clinical assessment of the patient's healthcare status and needs.
- Provides patient care to facilitate expected patient outcomes.
- Provides counseling and education to patients to enhance patient care.
- Documents care provided to support the continuity of patient care and optimum patient outcomes.
- Assists physician in caring for patients.
- Renders consistent professional care to patients in the hospital.
- Demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to assure assessment, treatment and care is appropriate to the age of the patients served. Care provided is appropriate for all patients including adults or geriatrics.

Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited school for a Registered Nurse Practitioner program.
Master's Degree in Nursing.
Minimum of 1 year post-licensure clinical nursing exp. Neuro Experience Preferred
