Best Western PREMIER is looking for a weekend Night Auditor for our location in Ankeny.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting a part time position to supplement their Monday through Friday job! You get 16 hours per weekend during the overnight hours - giving you your days open to manage time with your family and friends! Then you are all done Sunday morning by 7am giving you time to rest and be ready for your regular job on Monday!

If you want to maximize your hours in a part time weekend job without sacrificing fun and games with family and friends - this is it!

For those wanting even more hours - we typically can find additional shifts during the week, too! Not to mention, we encourage cross-training in our other hospitality departments, as well!

There is always something to do in the hotel industry for those wanting to experience and learn new things!

SOME DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Register late night guests and assigns rooms. Accommodates special requests whenever possible.
• Should be familiar with computers, microsoft word and excel experience are helpful but not required.
• Knows room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates.
• Possesses a working knowledge of the reservations department. Takes same day reservations and future reservations when necessary. Knows cancellation procedures.
• Process guest check-outs.
• Performing cashier related functions like posting charges to guest accounts and folios.
• Uses proper telephone etiquette.
• Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager or assistant manager.
• Knows all safety and emergency procedures, is aware of accident prevention policies.
• Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area.
• Performs cleaning in all public spaces.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
