The Front Desk Night Auditor position is an Overnight Front Desk position at the Holiday Inn Express, Utica.

The primary function of the Night Audit position is running reports and computer programs to get the hotel set for the next day. Some other duties include delivering receipts, and getting the kitchen and lobby set up for each morning with organizing the sundry shop, making coffee, cookies, inventories, etc. And also preparing the front desk and lobby area in the morning for coffee, snacks, etc.

Overnight position the priority hire but will also consider 2nd shift candidates.

Additional shifts: 2nd shift is 3:00pm to 11:00pm, overnight audit shift is 11:00pm - 7:00am and we will be hiring for both or a combination.

This is also a great opportunity to get in with a rapidly growing company in Utica and Rome.
Some of the usual front desk duties are also performed such as checking guests in, checking guests out, providing above and beyond guest service, taking reservations, and making each and every guest feel like they are at home. Part Time available with potential for full time

Duties:
- Checking Guests In
- Checking Guests Out
- Providing above and beyond guest service
- Keeping front desk area and office neat and tidy
- Inventories of front desk supplies and of the sundry shop
- An overly polite and pleasant attitude at all times
- Fulfilling guest requests to the best of our abilities
- Taking reservations over the phone
- Putting together welcome bags
- Being knowledgeable of the immediate area for guest questions
- Must be able to think on their feet rapidly to handle guest issues that may arise
- Taking business leads for sales efforts
- Assisting guests with luggage if needed
- Any items assigned by the General Manager or Front Office Manager

Additional helpful skills:
- Must be adaptable to constantly changing environment
- Must have computer skills including typing, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
- Must be comfortable providing excellent customer service
- Must have a pleasant and upbeat attitude
- Must be able to multi task
- Must have impeccable phone etiquette
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs.
