The Night Associate position is a crucial part of the team that requires a hardworking and dedicated individual who can effectively manage time and responsibilities. This position is primarily responsible for prioritizing and meeting the various needs of guests during the evening hours, such as assisting guests with issues, delivering items to guests, changing door batteries, and cleaning units when needed.

This role has a diverse set of responsibilities to be executed on a daily, weekly, monthly and as-needed basis. These responsibilities are outlined below:

Daily

• Prioritize and execute miscellaneous tasks as they come in from the guest services representative
• Wash/dry/fold all unit linen from turnovers earlier in the day
• Operate and perform minor maintenance and upkeep of washing and drying machines
• Fold linen to standard
• Organize and store linen
• Clean dryer lint traps
• Empty warehouse trash containers
• Clean miscellaneous warehouse spaces

Weekly

• Attend team meetings in person if working, otherwise virtually

Monthly

• Meet with Operations Manager

As-Needed

• Miscellaneous property tasks:
• Change door lock batteries
• Drop off inventory at properties
• Take trash to and from curb at properties
• Reclean units when required from a complaint or inspection
• Kit unit linen bins according to property needs
• Restock cleaning kit supplies
• Refill cleaning kit spray bottles

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning and housekeeping preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with guests and team members
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies, climb stairs, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods

Shift hours: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Schedule: Full time/Part time availability
Location: This is an in-person role, with your primary work locations varying across the following areas:

• Tesseract warehouse: 5768 Arrowhead Drive, Suite C, Virginia Beach, VA 23462
• Properties managed by Tesseract Rentals in Hampton Roads, Virginia

Expectations: See below for job related expectations:

• Clock in upon arrival at the warehouse, no later than 4:00 PM
• Leave the warehouse for the day by 12:00 AM
• Clock out before leaving the warehouse

Compensation and Benefits Summary

• Base Salary $14-$15 Per Hour Note: Payroll is on a weekly schedule.
• Health benefits are available after 60 days of employment.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
