Job Title:- Network Support Engineer

· Bachelor’s in Computer Science or other related technical field and/or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
· 6+ years of working experience with Cisco IOS devices including configuration and troubleshooting.
· Working experience in monitoring and troubleshooting Enterprise business and large-scale LAN/WAN environments including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
· Hands-on technical experience preferred with internetworking/data center operations including WAN operations, Network Protocols, TCP/IP, OSI Model, UNIX or Linux operating systems, and network hardware preferred. Potential for exposure to Network Security (e.g. Web Application Security, VPN, Application Firewalls, etc.)
· Knowledgeable and experienced in various network technologies, services, and protocols that are typical of a large enterprise network including BGP, MPLS, OSPF, EIGRP, and QoS
· Knowledge of carrier-based technologies such as TDM, MPLS, SONET, and OC level circuits
· Assist with planning, design, and implementation of local and remote Cisco network hardware, software, and procedures.
· Understanding of security device architecture, engineering, and installation/management.
· Demonstrate configuration level knowledge of Cisco Firewalls
· Experience with Wireless Control Systems, Access Point, and 802.1x, PKI, EAP, TLS technologies
· Strong understanding of change control methodologies and experience following change processes
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent analytical skills and the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
· Proven ability to identify and deliver cost savings and avoidances while improving technology solutions
· Excellent organization skills including the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment.
· Excellent customer service skills together with experience supporting corporate customers and service providers in production environments.
· Daily duties will include responding to customer originated trouble tickets and service request along with planning and executing controlled changes within the infrastructure
· Cisco and Fortinet Certified preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $59,016.58 - $110,256.95 per year
