Responsibilities:
As a
Network Administrator, you will provide support to all IT infrastructure, including servers, operating systems, databases, networking, firewalls, switches, routers, and web applications.
In addition, you will:
- Monitor, support, and troubleshoot the IT infrastructure for problems
- Clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly/non-technical manner
- Work with internal and external clients via phone and email to resolve problems
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution for all types of IT infrastructure as assigned – hardware, software, telecommunications, business application, customer connectivity, LAN, WAN, and others
- Triage complex problems, taking corrective action to ensure availability and minimize downtime
About You:
- You have a 2-year technical degree, A+, MCDST or similar certification, or 2-4 years of relevant experience
- You have experience with multiple software technologies, including Windows XP/Vista/7, MS Office, MS Windows Server 2003/2008/R2
- You have excellent knowledge and experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Distributed File Services, Exchange Server 2003/2007/2010
- You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
MOS Codes 26A, 26B, 26Z, 0631, 746A, and 25B relate well to this position.
