Network Administrator 3
The Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining our organization’s network and solving any issues that may occur on them. Their duties include working with other IT staff and company employees to identify and solve any issues that arise with software, hardware, networks, and systems, installing and configuring network equipment, monitoring computer systems to improve performance, and fixing software and hardware configuration issues.
Responsibilities
· Maintaining network support, help desk support, reviewing current operational procedures, and assisting users with network and PC hardware/software related issues.
· Maintaining optimal performance of servers, network devices, communication devices and VoIP system.
· Monitor network operations to ensure normal function and provide early detection of performance problems.
· Schedule and perform preventative maintenance of networking, software, and hardware components.
· Prioritizes, documents, and actively resolves end user requests and trouble tickets.
· Perform initial setup, software installation, testing, and security hardening of network and security systems.
· Provide timely problem resolution to user and system problems.
· Determine and initiate appropriate and immediate actions to restore normal services with minimal disruption.
· Provide detailed documentation and diagrams for proposed, altered, and existing network systems.
· Collaborate with Management for project planning and day-to-day operations.
· Travel between company sites is required.
· Occasional after-hours as needed.
Qualifications
· Three years or more as a Network Administrator – system troubleshooting, diagnostics and network connectivity problem solving.
· Microsoft O365 System Administration Experience and working knowledge of the suite of tools (Excel, Teams, One Drive, Outlook, etc.).
· Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, Exchange.
· Network Switches/ Router/ WAP Configuration Experience and Security
· Experience with Meraki networking environments
· Proven success with providing exemplary customer service to end users.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
