NetSuite Administrator

Then Boats Group is looking for you! We are seeking an experienced and driven individual to be the go-to person for the finance team on all things NetSuite! In this role, you will be responsible for system access, troubleshooting, system administration, report writing, role creation, and being the go-to resource for all inquiries and requests from the finance team. You’ll collaborate with team members across all the departments and with a variety of stakeholders to deliver and improve solutions utilizing NetSuite’s capabilities.

What You’ll Do:
- Own NetSuite Operations:
- In this role, you will be the Subject Matter Expert for NetSuite internally; Provide support, own the administration seat, and roll out improvements while supporting all functional and technical areas
- Bringing your deep knowledge of NetSuite, you’ll manage configuration changes to fields, workflows, roles/permissions, page layouts, custom objects, custom record types, reports, and dashboards
- You’ll liaison with our accounting team to document and create new and customized workflows. You’ll bring a fresh perspective and evaluate the effectiveness of our current workflows and find ways to improve on them, including documentation, updating NetSuite and other systems, rolling out to all impacted, and evaluating the updates.
- As Administrator, you will manage system access for all users and roles across the business, along with managing the File Cabinet size, maintaining saved reports, exporting and sharing data, and being responsible for NetSuite's accurate billing - basically, you’ll be managing NetSuite behind the scenes and ensuring it’s working for our needs
- As the SME on NetSuite, you’ll be responsible for evaluating additional modules for potential effectiveness and roll out as needed
- You’ll build a strong relationship with NetSuite’s support and customer service, liaising with them to solve issues beyond your knowledge
- As things evolve internally and with NetSuite, you’ll ensure NetSuite and associate workflows are updated and compliant. You’ll always keep in mind the companies policies and protocols while focusing on the business and end users' needs
- Evaluate business requirements, translate them into functional and system requirements that meet those needs, and implement solutions in NetSuite
- You’ll fully administer NetSuite including user management, reporting, workflow creation, dashboard development, and more!
- Collaborate:
- Partner with Salesforce Administrators, Sales Operations, and leadership to streamline overall contract-to-invoice processes
- Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and simplification and act as SME on NetSuite-related projects
- Provide and lead training to all end users on a global level and build relationships with all users by acting as a resource and answering all questions
- Provide Insights & Solve Problems:
- Provide insights on NetSuite’s functionality and solve complex business problems by developing the best solution, analyzing requirements, developing and maintaining reporting needs, collaborating cross-functionally, and managing system enhancements
- Provide complex problem-solving expertise for users on interface issues, technical support, and developing their knowledge and expanding their usage
- Build organizational capability to leverage advanced data analysis features in NetSuite, incorporating Tableau, PowerBI, and Salesforce
What You Should Have:
- You have extensive NetSuite experience - you are a superuser and have 5 years of in-depth experience using NetSuite experience
- Detailed understanding of accounting and financial reporting - you’ll be an integral part of the Accounting team and will be translating their workflows into NetSuite
- Strong Business Analyst mindset - you know how to create reports and dashboards (mainly in Excel), you can document and create workflows of all types, and you can see the larger picture while focusing on the smallest of details.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge; perhaps you know JavaScript or other programming languages, perhaps you have a degree in computer science or information systems, or perhaps you have a degree in accounting or finance and found a passion for systems and NetSuite and grew your skills on the job
- As NetSuite, isn't the only system our team uses, knowledge of Concur and SalesForce will help you on the job!
