Southwestern Music Therapy L.L.C. is seeking Music Teacher to become part of our growing team. We are looking for energetic and motivated Music Teachers who want to have a positive impact on the lives of children and adults. Teachers will have the unique opportunity to work with other well-trained professionals.

Description of the job:

Job Title: Music Teacher

Hours: Contract Position. Flexible hours available

Salary: Very competitive hourly rate and based on experience

Facility: Music Teachers will provide in-home and facility-based Music Classes. Reliable transportation is a must.

Areas: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX.

Position requirements include but are not limited to:

• Provide Music Classes in in-home and facility-based settings
• Develop customized classes plans
• Documentation of visits and quarterly reports

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in music from an accredited four-year college or university
• Student who is studying a music degree
• Dependable and disciplined, yet flexible
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Covid vaccination preferred

We welcome students that are in the process of completing their Music Degree.

Client Population: We provide Music Therapy services to people of all ages, backgrounds, interests, and levels of functioning. Some populations that we work with include but are not limited to people with acute Pain, addiction, bipolar disorder, brain damage, dementia, Down’s Syndrome, Geriatrics and Neonatal Care.
