Masis Professional Group is seeking an MRP Controller (Standards Administrator) in South Deerfield MA for a contract position performing a variety of duties reviewing engineering drawings, parts lists, engineering change orders, master parts listing, and maintaining the ECO/ECR database.

Salary: $25 to $30 per hour based on experience

Schedule: 40 hours, Monday through Friday

MRP Controller Responsibilities:

· Examines engineering drawings/blueprints, part lists, formulations, sales orders, and other documentation for conformance to established criteria regarding materials, parts, and processes specified. Initiates requests for changes to ensure compliance with standards, including engineering change requests.

· Creates, compiles and maintains control records and related files to release engineering drawings and documents to manufacturing and other departments, customers and vendors.

· Organizes and maintains engineering file systems, files, correspondence, and other records. Posts change to computerized or manual control records, releases documents and notifies affected departments. Assists in maintaining ECO/ECR databases.

· Purchases, maintains, and controls Standards and Specifications documents, files and database.

· Reviews engineering data and compiles lists of materials and parts required for manufacturing product. Checks part numbers against prints. Detects parts with inaccurate numbers, non-numbered parts, or other anomalies. Works with Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing and other departments as appropriate to coordinate jobs, obtain correct data or information and adjust databases. Maintains revision control.

· Updates and maintains metrics for department, such as on-time delivery.

· Performs additional duties as required or directed.

MRP Controller Requirements:

• 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment where drawings and Bills of Materials are used
• Basic experience in material requirements
• Familiarity with various types of materials used in production
• Familiarity reading print and parts lists on drawings
• Working knowledge of measurement tools including measuring tape, ruler, and Vernier micrometer
• Strong knowledge of MS Office programs
• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
