We’re looking for a responsible Mover to handle the movement of goods and materials, including being able to lift 100lbs+. As a mover, you should be able to handle the full range of jobs: small or large scale moves, interstate or local. You will coordinate the moving of company’s resources and materials in a safe manner. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management skills and attention to detail. You will be in charge of ensuring that all moving related services are performed correctly, from packing and loading to transport and unloading. Ultimately, your goal is to keep our company’s resources safe during the transportation process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Lift, carry, and load furniture weighing up to 100 pounds, onto box trucks for transport to and from client locations, including up and down stairs.

· Deliver and set-up furniture inside client homes, as required/requested within committed timeframes including but not limited to bed frames, mattresses, box springs, dressers, tables, chairs, sofas and lamps.

· Respond to inquiries and requests from clients in a knowledgeable and professional manner. Provide problem-solving solutions when necessary.

· Demonstrate the ability to protect all donated furniture from damage through established best practices.

· Pack and unpack items in an organized and efficient manner.

· Other duties as assigned by management.

CREDENTIALS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

· High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/REQUIREMENTS:

· Outdoors environment, with fluctuating temperatures

· Standing up to eight hours day

· Able to lift 100 or more pounds repeatedly throughout the day

· Subject to occasional loud noise

· May work with teams or alone

· Stand, bend, twist, and climb for long periods of time in an outdoors environment

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Safety clothing/equipment mandatory

· Required to pass a background check and maintain a clear background

· Required to have a valid drivers license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
