We would like

To hire someone Who lives in sylmar or within 15 mins of sylmar area!

Job requires lifting dead weight of 90lbs+ but usually accompanied by a colleague or assisting nurses/family members.

New employees will be taught how to properly fill out paperwork, use equipment (gurneys, toe tags, etc.), and procedures for different locations (L.A. Coroners Office, hospitals, etc.).

Duties include

providing post-mortum care to those who have passed, making contact with family members, nurses, etc. regarding information on the deceased, and transporting them from gurney to mortuary for holding.

Job is On Call (24/7), and is paid per case.

Additional salary possible depending on status of decedent (distance, weight, stature, stairs, etc.) & base rate increased if employee shows initiative in leading the removal process.

Job Type: Commission

Pay: $26.00 - $156.00 per day

COVID-19 considerations:
Employees utilize masks during cases and may do so during transport as well. Gloves are used during removal and gurneys are disinfected after every case.
