R.W. Garcia, a subsidiary of UTZ Quality foods, is looking to grow their loyal, career driven, and customer-focused team, and is currently recruiting for a Masa Mixer to join their team of manufacturing professionals in Lincolnton, NC on theFirstshift.

As a Masa Mixer, this position prepares the main ingredient to be made into the final product. This position must monitor the machines to make sure the product comes out at R.W. Garcia standards. This schedule will work Monday - Friday7:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Load bags of masa flour into a masa mixer.
• Inspect and load grinding stones into the grinding machine.
• Load buckets with masa from masa mixer or corn grinder.
• Follow formulas to add correct amount of water and other ingredients to the masa mix.
• Alternate with oven operator if is need it.
• Bring products from warehouse as needed to continue mixing process.
• Help relieve or assist packing rooms operations as directed by Supervisor.
• Maintain area clean and place trash for waste in proper containers.
• Assist corn cook on lifting corn waste buckets.
• Record correct lot numbers, quantity, and time of masa for each batch.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation process during weekly clean up.
• Monitor production as to not have excessive waste at the end of a production order.
• Perform any other duties as required by Plant Manager or Supervisor.

• Must be able to lift 50lb bags and corn waste buckets, weight between 150 lbs. and 200 lbs. recommend lift it with assistance.
