The Blue Mountain Union School in Wells River, Vermont is seeking a middle school science teacher starting in the 2023-2024 school year. This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of standards-based and/or proficiency-based instruction and assessments. A commitment and understanding of middle level students, middle level education/philosophy, and the ability to form positive and supportive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues is essential.Knowledge of a wide variety of topics in middle school science is key.
