The Amherst-Pelham Regional School District is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Night Custodian at Amherst-Pelham Regional Middle School. This is a full-time, full year permanent position working 40 hours per week between the hours of 3pm and 11pm, during the school year when school in session, and 7-3:30pm when school is not in session. This is a grade B position within the AFSCME bargaining unit with an hourly pay range of $16.90 to $18.09.Responsibilities Include: Shovel and/or salt walkways, driveways, parking areas, and steps, as appropriate.Vacuum carpets, clean windows, sweep floors and dust furniture daily.Clean corridors after school each day, and during the day required.Clean and disinfect bathrooms.Keep grounds free from rubbish.Keep all floors in a clean and attractive condition and in a good state of preservation.Remain on the school grounds during assigned shift hours.Move furniture or equipment within the building as required for various activities and as directed by the head custodian.Other assigned duties as required to fill job-related needs.Requirements also include: - Certification of good health signed by a licensed physician.- Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds on a regular basis.-Ability to climb ladders.- Experienced in the use of custodial supplies, tools and accessories, including but not limited to floor scrubber machines, buffers, stripping and waxing equipment, etc.- Basic computer skills, including but not limited to email usage.- Acceptable Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI).- Acceptable National Criminal Background Check, commonly referred to as a fingerprint check.Position Type: Full-timePositions Available: 1Salary: $16.90 to $18.09 Per Hourlearninglandscape.com is the go-to platform for job seekers looking for the best job postings from around the web.
