Job description
Overview:
- Should have multiple years of heavy equipment expierence. Dozers, excavators, fork lifts are all important, but wheel loaders is top priority.
- Motivated and self managed, willing to have a flexible schedule. Base hours will be 8am-6pm or 10am-6pm, but will be asked to fill in on 1st shift (6am-2pm) and 2nd shift (12pm-8pm) when employees are off.
- Work enviornment is outdoors 12 months out of the year. Expect to go home dirty and dress appropriately each day. All employees are cross trained on all jobs and should be able to help wherever is needed.
- Needs to have a mechanical background so he/she can be taught how to diagnose and repair common plant issues.
- Welding and torch work are a plus.
- Basic automotive repair a plus.
- Expierence with hydraulics a plus.
- Expierence with electrical systems (any voltage) a plus.
- Construction related jobs a plus.
- Will be trained to load customer trucks.
- Will be trained to start/stop plant.
- Must be willing to work at heights.
- Must be able to swim and be comfortable working around water.
