Job Description:

The Manager Ground Operations Analytics inves ts our Purpose by leading a Team that collects Ground Operations data to identify and analyze performance trends. This role supports the reporting that comes from performance statistics. The Manager Ground Operations Analytics is a strong communicator who is excited to lead a Team in driving the future of Ground Operations.

Job Summary
Responsible for bettering the operation through leading the Operational Analytics Team by developing analytically based strategies and execution plans to contribute operational performance and the bottom line.

Guide and lead Team Members using SWA talent management practices to coach, develop, and engage Employees

Responsibilities
Coordinate the staffing standards to balance efficiency with cost savings and operational integrity
Evaluate strategies and analyze alternative solutions to improve productivity and operational performance
Ensure the approvals of headcount outside of budget planning process are just and valid
Conduct root cause analysis on overtime and manpower related challenges
Manage cross-functional relationships with all Ground Operations groups to assist meeting short and long-term goals that benefit the Department
Assist with the dissemination of operational and financial data and acts as the primary point person on all analysis related to Ground Ops KPIs
Identify new information sources and ensure proper distribution of critical information to decision makers
Manage special projects as assigned by Sr Manager
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of developing and delivering presentations to large audiences, including senior leadership
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate complex issues in a structured, concise manner
Proficiency and extensive use of spreadsheets, word processing, graphics, and database software
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications
Ability to exercise business judgment, to communicate persuasive conclusions and insights, and to build relationships
Ability to project poise, confidence, and maturity in both internal and external situations
Ability to effectively lead Team members
Ability to meet deadlines, often within very tight timeframes
Ability to serve a full range of assignments
Ability to assume a high level of responsibility and to provide direction in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment
Ability to effectively manage highly sensitive and confidential information
Ability to identify and resolve issues
Ability to design and conduct analyses, as well as synthesizing recommendations
Preferred experience with Tableau, Alteryx, EDW, and SQL
Education
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
Demonstrated experience in directly or indirectly leading team(s)

Leadership
Financial Analysis
SQL
Essbase and Tableau
Licensing/Certification

Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time

Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $112,950 per year to $125,500 per
year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
