West Side Beer Distributing is seeking a full-time Beer Merchandiser. This position will require weekend work/40-hour workweeks. Merchandisers are required to drive their personal vehicles and will receive a weekly car allowance for their services. In addition, the company will provide a fuel card and company cell phone for business purposes. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

• Compensation: $16.75 per hour, after 90 days $17.25 after 1 year $17.75. There is a retention bonus of $500 after 60 days, after 180 days another $500
• $160 per month car allowance and gas allotment for vehicle

POSITION SUMMARY
Rotate and stock cases on shelves, coolers, racks, and bins with products and arrange and build product displays to attract customers. Take physical count of stock, check and price product. Responsible for adhering to company policies, procedures, MLCC guidelines and supplier agreements.

Take inventory to identify items to be replenished.

• Rotate and stock shelves, racks and bins with product.
• Check inventory levels and rotation and monitor product quality according to company and supplier standards.
• Plan and build product display in retail stores.
• Stamp, attach or change price tags on the product as directed by sales representative.
• Set up advertising signs and displays of product on shelves and counters to attract customers to promote sales.
• Complete product and development training as required.
• Communicate appropriate information related to inventory and customer service needs to sales representatives or delivery personnel.
• Know and understand all competitive pricing.
• Maintain positive customer relations.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience: No prior experience necessary
Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Certificates & Licenses: Valid Driver’s Licenses.
Other Requirements: Must pass a physical, drug screen, background check and motor vehicle report must meet insurance company guidelines.
