Mental Health Treatment Center in Studio City is now hiring for Mental Health Workers!

Availability:

• Full Time
• PM Shifts
• Must be able to work weekends & holidays!

Responsibilities:

• Rounds
• Room Searches
• Intakes & Discharges
• Assist with Self Administered Medications
• Assist with vitals and drug testing
• Assist in accessing community resources
• Assist with crisis intervention when needed

• Teach independent living skills effectively
• Complete shift reports
• Prepare and facilitate groups as needed
• Ensure clients complete household chores
• Completed Incident Reports as needed
• Transportation for clients to and from outside appointments (company provided vehicle)
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Pre-Employment Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School graduate or possess a GED. Coursework in counseling, psychology, or social work
• Experience working with Substance Use, Mental Health and/or Eating Disorders preferred
• Currently registered with either CADDE or CCAPP preferred or willing to obtain upon hire
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record and personal automobile insurance.
• Hiring is contingent upon completion of a Background Check, TB test, and clearance on a drug screen and pre-employment physical, First Aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain upon hire, DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance or an exemption and a submission of a signed Criminal Record Statement (LIC 508).

• Subject to the new state vaccine mandate for all healthcare workers as of September 30th, 2021.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.50 per hour
