Job description

Our surgery center in Beverly Hills, CA is looking for a Medical Records Clerk for our facility. Please read the job description below and feel free to apply.

Some details regarding our Medical Records Clerk position:

  • Location: Beverly Hills, CA
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM
  • Pay: $18-$20/hr. starting (dependent on experience)
  • Benefits (upon reaching eligibility): Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(k), PTO, Holiday Pay, Sick Time, etc.

A day in the life of our Medical Records Clerk is:

  • Scan and file all medical records correctly
  • Responds to medical records requests by printing and mailing them
  • Provide Copies of medical records in a timely manner
  • Assist with the purging and preparation for storage of medical charts
  • Ensure That medical records for scheduled patients are available prior to their appointment
  • Maintain Client confidentiality at all times (HIPAA)
  • Perform Other duties as assigned

The perfect Medical Records Clerk would have:

  • Prefer someone with Medical Assistant experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency In office skills such as typing 35 wpm, scanning and filing
