Concordia Visiting Nurses is seeking a candidate to fill the role of Medical Records Clerk. (Home Healthcare). This is a full-time position housed at our Cabot office.

Responsible for obtaining physician orders in a timely manner, which includes communicating with physicians and traveling throughout our service area to physician offices. Responsible for fulfilling medical records requests as needed. Responsible for supporting the Billing Department by performing various tasks such as reviewing remits and filing.

The selected candidate must possess outstanding customer service skills with the ability to multi-task, work independently, and must be willing to travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE MEDICAL RECORDS CLERK INCLUDE:
  • Maintains orderly files
  • Follows medical records policies and procedures
  • Maintains patient confidentiality
  • Answers the telephone, takes messages, and gives routing information in accordance with established procedures, if needed
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE MEDICAL RECORDS CLERK:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Interested candidates must be 21 years of age or older to be considered due to the agency’s company vehicle policy.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a health care environment, home health recommended such as home health aide
