NOVA Acupuncture is a small business in Alexandria, VA. We are professional and supportive. The clinic has a very calming and relaxed atmosphere. Busy acupuncture clinic with 4 practitioners in house in need of support office assistant. Insurance checking and tracking experience required.

Hours PT: Tuesday-Friday 11-6 / Saturdays 10-4

Responsibilities include:

Friendly greeting of patients. Checking in patients which include up to date personal information, uploading ID and insurance cards.

Making sure the patient has filled out intake and consent forms.

Going over our fee policy.

Supporting practitioners by turning over rooms when needed.

Answering phones and scheduling. Checking out patients and booking next appointments. Light housekeeping.

Required skills: Excellent at multi-tasking. Attention to detail. Excellent math skills. Excel sheet experience. Medical billing education (specific to acupuncture a plus).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
